Why Kelowna?

Kelowna is a small city that has it all. Surrounded by lake systems, vineyards and world class ski resorts, Kelowna is the centre of one of the most vibrant tech and wine making regions in the world. As our business community thrives, urbanization expands through planning with a focus on eco-preservation as a priority. The Okanagan Valley has one of the most comfortable climates in Canada, world class recreation, a new university and a healthy art community. With the expansion of the Kelowna International Airport, it is now possible to fly direct to Calgary or Vancouver in an hour, Seattle in 70 minutes and direct to Mazatlán and other vacation destinations within hours.

Winter in Kelowna

With moderate winter temperatures and so many world class ski resorts right here in our backyard, we have a range of activities to choose from. Big White Resort offers several options including skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and two trails designated for fat biking. Rent a room, go out for some fine dining, wander through the village for a little shopping, then retire with a glass of local wine and a soak in the hot tub. It’s not a surprise we host world class competitions.

Come for a visit! We know you will want to stay.
